ABOUT BRIANA HELT

With a strong foundation in accounting and finance, Briana Helt serves as Corporate Controller at Felins, Inc. She graduated from UW-Milwaukee in 2015 with a Masters in Management – Professional Accounting. Her journey into the world of finance began as an Intermediate Accounting TA and Intro to Accounting Professor, where she found her passion for teaching and mentoring. Briana became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in 2017, demonstrating her commitment to excellence in her field.

Starting her career as an Assurance Intern and Staff at Ernst & Young, Briana gained invaluable experience in auditing and financial reporting. She then transitioned to Felins in 2015 as a Staff Accountant, quickly rising through the ranks to become Manager of Finance & Analytics in 2017. In 2022, Briana assumed the role of Controller before being promoted to Corporate Controller in 2023, where she continues to drive financial excellence and mentor employees towards success. Briana is described by her coworkers as someone with a great sense of humor - embodying fun, positivity and our core values of being RAD in her every day interactions.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Briana is a devoted mother to her three-year-old son, Bryce. She lives a very active lifestyle and enjoys golfing with her fiancé, spending weekends on the lake in Nekoosa, WI, playing pickleball with family, and exercising in her garage gym before Bryce wakes up.  Briana jokingly finds balance in her life by, “Drinking tequila [as a hobby].”

Briana's journey from teaching to accounting has shaped her into a dedicated professional who values mentorship and continuous learning. With her wealth of experience in finance and accounting, coupled with her passion for teaching and commitment to an active lifestyle, Briana continues to excel in her role as Corporate Controller at Felins.
