CEOs Share Lessons Learned and Growth Strategies
As part of a community outreach, Midwest TEC [The Executive Committee] produces a radio program aired bi-weekly on AM 1130 WISN Radio in the Milwaukee, WI area. TEC is an organization where CEOs and Presidents of companies confidently share ideas with each other. Through this radio program, the Midwest TEC group communicates some of this valuable information with others in the business community.
Saturday, May 25, 2013 the topic of discussion was sales and marketing, where George Satula, Chairman of TEC7, moderated a conversation with Andrew Barrieau, CEO of Felins, Inc., a manufacturer of packaging and bundling equipment located in Milwaukee, WI and John Asher, CEO at ASHER, a global leader in growth strategies.
The conversation focused on growth strategies for small business as well as putting together a world class sales team and giving them the tools to grow their business.
Listeners gained these key take-a-ways:
Business need multiple avenues of marketing to be sure they get brand penetration
People and relationships are more important than ever
Sales are an opportunity to solve someone else’s problems
“Companies today can’t be myopic,” said George Satula after the show, they have to think of diverse ways to approach their audience.” He also commented on how he is proud to work with professional people like Andrew Barrieau and John Asher through the TEC organization.
